Join Michele Hilsenbeck at Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN on Thursday, December 14th from 10-1 CST. Students will learn to make a snowflake and an angel, that can be used as ornaments or as special adornments to gift packages, using quilling.
The snowflake final size may vary, but will be approximately 3 inches diameter. The angel will be approximately 3” x 3”. Each item will use basic shapes - tight coils, loose coils, teardrops and marquis shapes to make the final product, although there will be some multiple strip shapes created
There will be some color options for students, in that white, silver, gold, light blue and light pink will be available to use for either piece. The paper materials for this project will be more of a “family style” for all students to share, and to be able to mix and match to their discretion. Students will also be provided background options for their ornaments , small coasters or curtain rings, if they chose.Ribbons will also be provided to hang the ornaments.
The fee for this class is $40, which includes all materials-slotted tool, tweezers, sizing tool, glue bottle with appropriate glue, instructions, and helpful hints. Students will also be provided a small amount of Mod Podge to finish their ornament (If they do not have any at home). Previous students are encouraged to bring their existing tools to class.
