Join Jiyoung, the maker behind Ajumom Kimchi, for a hands-on fermented kimchi–making experience inspired by her Korean roots.  This event is being held at Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN on Friday, December 19th from 5:30-7:30 CST.

In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the full process of making authentic fermented napa cabbage kimchi—from prepping and salting the cabbage to building flavor with garlic, ginger, gochugaru, and all the essential ingredients.
We’ll explore fermentation basics, how to care for your kimchi at home, and why this vibrant, probiotic-rich food is so good for your gut.
Everyone will chop, mix, taste, and pack their own jar of kimchi to take home and ferment to perfection. Please bring your own knife, cutting board, big bowl, and drinks. All ingredients and additional tools are provided.
At the end of class, Jiyoung will serve a Bulgogi dinner for everyone, along with a kimchi tasting—the perfect pairing. Grab a friend or a loved one, have fun learning about kimchi, enjoy one of Korea’s most popular dishes, and head home with your own handmade kimchi to show off at your holiday gatherings!
Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. The fee for this class is $68 with a class limit of 12.
